Who should be baptized?

Anyone who believes that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, receives God's free offer of forgiveness and salvation, and has entrusted their life to Him should be baptized.

Why Should I Be Baptized?

• The first reason to be baptized is to follow the example of Jesus. He never asked us to do something that He didn't do. Jesus was baptized at age thirty when He began His ministry. He did it to set an example for us: as a picture of His own future death, burial, and resurrection and to identify with sinners who considered Him a friend and brother.
• A second reason a person who has decided to follow Christ should be baptized, is simply out of a desire to obey God fully. Several times in the Bible (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:16, Acts 2:28, Acts 18:18) baptism is commanded. So, it's not optional for anyone who is serious about following Christ.
• A third reason for baptism is the desire to make your commiment to Christ public.
